Quality Management System (QMS)
Help create, review, maintain and document all quality standard operating procedures within multiple teams worldwide.
Maintains, enforces, and manages a compliant and effective QMS for the activities in scope, as well as for effective and lean QMS structures and documents.
Ensures the organization’s Quality Management System including documentation conforms to internal, ISO, and regulatory/legal requirements.
Manages the deployment of the global QMS and manage its deployment on the local level.
Ensures proper audit planning and schedule meets the requirements of internal policies and external regulations.
Ensures the addition and management of any local QMS documents.
Ensures training and training registration as per the QMS and generates training content for local QMS documents as necessary.
Frequently interacts with subordinate supervisors, customers, and/or functional peer group managers, normally involving matters between functional areas, other company divisions or units, or customers and the company. Often must lead a cooperative effort among members of a cross-functional project team.
Certifications include but are not limited to ISO 9001, AS 9120, AS 6081, ITAR, ISO 45001, ISO 27001, ISO 14001, ESD S20.20
Organizations include ERAI, GIDEP, IDEA, and government memberships for SAM and ACE.
Lead the company’s efforts in all customer, organizational and regulatory compliance including participating in all quality audits.
Maintain existing company certifications as well as continue to develop processes and handle audits for new certifications.
Bachelor’s degree / related fields and or 5-7 years experience in quality
Solid working knowledge of QMS documentation, training, and processes
Experience with Quality related certification programs
Experience with ESD compliance and certification is a plus.
Some domestic and international travel required
Ability to effectively communicate with co-workers, vendors, and customers.
Willingness to pitch in and get any job done as needed.
